The Resources Page: A How-To Guide
The Resources page is a curated collection of helpful homeschooling guides and links, hand-picked by the Chalk and Chart team and grouped by topic. It is a read-only reference, so there is nothing to set up or edit: just browse and open whatever looks useful.
Opening the Resources page
From the main menu on the left, click Resources. On a phone, the bottom bar shows only a few pages at a time, so tap More (the menu button at the far right of the bottom bar), then tap Resources.
The page opens with a short intro line at the top, followed by the curated links arranged in cards.
Browsing the resources
Every link on this page is chosen and maintained by the Chalk and Chart team. There are no add, edit, or delete controls here for parents; the list is the same helpful starting point for everyone.
How the list is organized
The resources are grouped into cards, one card per topic. Each card has a heading (the topic name) and a list of links underneath it. Your sample data includes topics such as Getting started, Curriculum & lessons, Reading, and Conferences.
The cards are ordered in a consistent, predictable way:
- Getting started always appears first, so new families see the basics up top.
- Every other topic follows in alphabetical order (for example, Conferences, then Curriculum & lessons, then Reading).
- Within a single topic, the links stay in the order the Chalk and Chart team arranged them.
How to open a link
Each entry shows the link's title (in your account's link color) followed by a small grey
website name with an arrow (for example, readaloudrevival.com ↗). The website name is there so
you can see where a link will take you before you click.
To open a resource, click its title. The link opens in a new browser tab, so the Chalk and Chart page you were on stays open behind it. When you are done reading, close the new tab (or switch back to it) to return to your planner right where you left off.
Some links also show a short description underneath in grey, giving you a sentence about what you'll find there.
Tip: If the page ever says "No resources yet. Check back soon.", it simply means the team hasn't published links for your account yet. Nothing is broken; new resources appear here automatically as they are added.
